{"id":706,"date":"2011-04-16T07:33:01","date_gmt":"2011-04-16T15:33:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.avatarplanet.com\/blog\/?p=706"},"modified":"2011-04-16T07:33:01","modified_gmt":"2011-04-16T15:33:01","slug":"if-your-second-life-land-is-stolen-linden-lab-says-be-patient","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.avatarplanet.com\/blog\/2011\/04\/16\/if-your-second-life-land-is-stolen-linden-lab-says-be-patient\/","title":{"rendered":"If your Second Life land is stolen, Linden Lab says &#8220;be patient&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I contacted <a href=\"http:\/\/www.secondlife.com\" target=\"_blank\">Second Life<\/a> support as soon as they opened this morning, and was told by MichaelS Scout, &#8220;If you&#8217;re concerned, be patient&#8221;. \u00a0There seemed to be no concern about my land being either stolen or transfered through a Linden Lab error.<\/p>\n<p>I was told to file an abuse report, which I had already done. \u00a0All I&#8217;ve received so far is an automated response saying &#8220;If any further information is required, Linden Lab will contact you regarding this incident.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m not feeling reassured.<\/p>\n<p>I was selling this and neighboring land so I could buy a full region. \u00a0Now I&#8217;m afraid to mark the other land for sale and I&#8217;m having major second thoughts about buying a full region.<\/p>\n<p>The land that was stolen or erroneously transferred is Hawk&#8217;s Roost in the Benten mainland sim. \u00a0The teleport link is <a href=\"http:\/\/slurl.com\/secondlife\/Benten\/210\/41\/24\" target=\"_blank\">slurl.com\/secondlife\/Benten\/210\/41\/24<\/a> if anyone wants to check it out. \u00a0The land was owned by my Hawk&#8217;s Land group, but is now owned by the Voomland group.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll post more information as soon as I get it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I contacted Second Life support as soon as they opened this morning, and was told by MichaelS Scout, &#8220;If you&#8217;re concerned, be patient&#8221;. \u00a0There seemed to be no concern about my land being either stolen or transfered through a Linden Lab error.
